S-a decis deschiderea unei investigații pentru accidentul feroviar produs la data de 29.05.2026, la ora 05:45, pe raza de activitate a Sucursalei Regionale CF Iași, la expedierea trenului de călători nr.552 029 (aparținând operatorului de transport feroviar SNTFC ,,CFR Călători” SA), din stația CFR Suceava, prin deraierea de prima osie de la al doilea boghiu de la primul vagon de la locomotivă.

It has been decided to open an investigation into the railway accident that occurred on May 29, 2026, at 5:45 a.m., within the operational area of the Iași Regional Railway Branch, during the departure of passenger train No. 552 029 (operated by the railway transport operator SNTFC “CFR Călători” SA), from the CFR Suceava station, due to the derailment of the first axle of the second bogie on the first car behind the locomotive.
