S-a decis deschiderea unei investigatii pentru incidentul feroviar produs la data 08.08.2026, ora 06:40, pe raza de activitate a Sucursalei Regionale CF Timisoara, în staţia CFR Curtici, prin scăparea locomotivei ES 700 (aparținând operatorului de trasport feroviar Cargo Trans Vagon SA), ce se afla garată la linia Tragere 1 şi talonarea schimbătorului de cale nr.21 din capătul X al stației cu afectarea liniilor 1 peron, 2 peron, 1A şi 2A.

It was decided to open an investigation into the rail incident that occurred on August 8, 2026, at 6:40 a.m., within the area of operation of the Timisoara Regional Railway Branch, at the Curtici CFR station, involving the runaway of locomotive ES 700 (belonging to the rail transport operator Cargo Trans Vagon SA), which was parked on Track 1 and collided with switch No. 21 at the X end of the station, affecting tracks 1 (platform), 2 (platform), 1A, and 2A.
